spacer Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of the people of Wisconsin by focusing on environmental and public health issues.

 

Joint Educational Conference (JEC)

Register now for the 2010 JEC. The event will take place at Eau Claire, Holiday Inn-Campus Area during September 22-23, 2010.  A golf outing will take place at Hickory Hills Golf Course on September 21, 2010.  

 

A motivational opening speaker, “Rosie the Riveter” is scheduled along wih a ventriloquist during the banquet.

Due to requests, a NEW session was added to the conference.

WEHA Logo Merchandise Now Available

Members and friends of WEHA are now able to proudly show thier support by purchasing WEHA logo merchandise.  WEHA is working with an online company, Cafe Press, to offer a wide variety of apparel, housewares items, bags, mousepads, clocks, etc.

Choosing Environmental Health As A Career?

    Environmental Health is a field providing a wide variety of employement oportunities.  Trained professionals in this career provide research, technical information, inspection and consultation services for many industries and agencies.  Environmental health specialists may be employed in local, state, or federal health-releated agencies.  Others may work in food processing, occupational health, environmental monitoring firms, and insurance companies.
